American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is Red Cross disaster relief focuses on meeting people's immediate emergency disaster-caused needs. When a disaster threatens or strikes, the Red Cross provides shelter, food, and health and mental health services to address basic human needs. In addition to these services, the core of Red Cross disaster relief is the assistance given to individuals and families affected by disaster to enable them to resume their normal daily activities independently.
The Red Cross also feeds emergency workers, handles inquiries from concerned family members outside the disaster area, provides blood and blood products to disaster victims, and helps those affected by disaster to access other available resources.

Through effective, innovative, Christian-based recovery programs, the Mission brings people out of despair and into a productive, good quality of life within the community.

Welcome to the Atlantic County Women's Center (ACWC), a non-profit social service agency dedicated to empowering and supporting women, children and families. There is a 24-hour emergency and protective housing in a confidential location for you and your children to stay until your domestic violence crisis passes or you are able to relocate. The ACWC has individual, family and/or group counseling for you and your children. There is also counselling for batterers to channel their anger another way. They can also help with legal problems.

While at the clinic, children receive medical examinations by a pediatrician and a complete physical assessment. Covenant House is the largest privately-funded childcare agency in the United States providing shelter and service to homeless and runaway youth. n addition to food, shelter, clothing and crisis care, Covenant House provides a variety of services to homeless youth including health care, education, vocational preparation, drug abuse treatment and prevention programs, legal services, recreation, mother/child programs, transitional living programs, street outreach and aftercare.

Donny Fund
- The Donny Fund is nonprofit division of the John and Nancy Sykes (JNS) Foundation. This all volunteer organization works closely with businesses and individuals to provide financial help for catastrophic illnesses. Programs include: rowing and walk/run event, building baseball field for persons with disabilities, making contributions to cancer patients, and providing assistive devices to kids with disabilities.
